Terms of Service

This is a baseline terms of service reflecting what Decisioner actually does today. It is a starting point, not legal advice - have it reviewed by a lawyer, and fill in your legal entity name and governing jurisdiction, before relying on it for a live product.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Decisioner, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Decisioner Does

Decisioner is a decision-support tool. You define options and weighted criteria; our AI generates suggested pros, cons, and per-criterion scores; and the final ranking and recommendation are computed deterministically from your own weights and those scores - not chosen by the AI.

3. AI-Generated Content Is Not Advice

AI-generated pros, cons, scores, and pattern insights are suggestions meant to support your thinking, not professional, financial, legal, medical, or other expert advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and their consequences.

4. Your Account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything illegal or to violate others' rights.
  • Attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the AI analysis or other parts of the service.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.

6. Payment & Subscriptions

Where paid plans are enabled, billing is handled via Stripe. Prices, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be shown at the time you subscribe. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund past charges unless we say otherwise.

7. Your Content

You own the decisions, options, and criteria you enter. By using the service, you grant us permission to process that content - including sending it to our AI provider - solely to provide the service back to you.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Decisioner is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analysis will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decisioner and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made using it.

11. Governing Law
